Apple has announced a number of new security features that will be coming to iOS 16, iPadOS 16, and macOS Ventura. These features are designed to protect users from phishing attacks, which are one of the most common types of cyberattacks.

One of the new features is called “Safety Check.” This feature allows users to review and revoke access to their accounts and data. For example, if a user believes that their account has been compromised, they can use Safety Check to revoke access to their account from all other devices.

Another new feature is called “Mail Protection.” This feature helps to protect users from phishing emails. Mail Protection will scan emails for malicious content and warn users if an email is likely to be a phishing attempt.

Apple is also introducing a new feature called “Passkeys.” Passkeys are a new type of password that is stored on the device and never leaves the device. This makes them much more secure than traditional passwords, which can be easily phished.

These are just a few of the new security features that Apple is introducing in iOS 16, iPadOS 16, and macOS Ventura. These features are a welcome addition and will help to keep users more secure from phishing attacks.
